RV Hackers exists to help new and soon-to-be RVers discover the joy of slowing down and enjoying the great outdoors… in comfort of course!

We’ll bring the tips, tricks and wise advice on all things RV-related, so you can relax and enjoy your time discovering the country.

Jon Payne

Jon bought his first RV in 2018, a 33-ft Coachmen Freedom Express travel trailer. Starting as a novice, he spent a year learning the ins-and-outs of RV-ing before embarking on a 101-day cross-country RV trip with his family in 2019. During the trip, they visited 22 different states and 14 national parks.

Jon currently enjoys traveling to new destinations throughout the Southeast US with his “hotel-on-wheels”, his wife, 3 children and labradoodle. When he’s not RV-ing, Jon spends his working time running a several different websites and ecommerce businesses.

Jalin Coblentz

Jalin is a full-time RVer, along with his wife (Kate) and their goldendoodle (Harper). They became full-time RVers while Kate was in physical therapy school and doing clinical rotations.  Home is their 2019 Palomino Puma, which is currently touring the southeast US. 

Jalin writes and works for a grocery delivery company full-time, and prior to that he worked as an HVAC technician.  Jalin and his wife enjoy hiking, running, and basically anything outdoors activity.

Lindsay Bozek

Lindsay enjoys RV camping with her husband and two children. Her RV is a vintage 1985 Minnie Winnie, which she inherited from her grandfather. She has learned a ton about RV camping and maintaining vintage RV’s since getting the Winnebago, and has worked to update and fix up the interior of the rig to better accommodate her family’s needs and comfort.

Lindsay works as a freelance writer and blogger, and camps recreationally, primarily in New York State parks. Lindsay also blogs about RVs and other topics at wholeselfgrowth.com.

Gianetta Palmer

Gianetta has been camping for most of her life and bought her first RV, a 1998 Jayco Class C off Craigslist. Her family enjoyed many trips throughout the southeast and especially camping at Fort Clinch State Park in Florida before an accident totaled the RV. Happily, everyone is okay, and Gianetta just bought a new GMC Sierra, which she hopes will pull her next RV.

Tom Blaha

Tom bought his first RV in 2011, a 20-year-old Dutchman that he fixed up and renovated to make it road-worthy. He currently owns a 36-foot SportTrek 327VIK that he has made significant modifications to. He spent 2 years full-time RVing with his family of 6 – covering 35,000 miles and visiting 22 national parks and 43 states between 2017 and 2019.

Today Tom’s family continues to enjoy RVing from their home base in the southeast US, where he also runs a small farm/homestead and a plastics machining company.
